Forklift Licence Training and Assessment

There are two ways we offer for you to do your Forklift Licence Training.

Option 1 - YOU COME TO US - Our intensive three day course covers all aspects of forklift operation, both theory and practical.  We run these courses each week at our training facilities - Brisbane, Ipswich and the Gold Coast.

Option 2 - WE COME TO YOU - This involves us coming to the workplace and conducting a formal training session, then leaving the trainee to accrue 40 hours of logged workplace experience under competent supervision.  We then return to the workplace and conduct the practical and theory assessment.

When you come to us, you won't be jammed in some small warehouse.  Our sites offer room to move, and room to learn.  These are real operational facilities, with real equipment, loads and learning experiences.  Not just simulated warehouses.

Description:
This Unit of Competency delivers the skills and knowledge required to achieve a Nationally recognised Workplace Health and Safety Forklift Ticket.  The course is designed for the beginner and experienced operator, and is delvered to match existing abilities and skill levels.

There are many different types of Forklifts and attachments.  This licence covers any forklift with a mast that doesn't elevate the operator, and has no weight restriction.

Course outcome:
On successful completion of the theory and practical assessment, a Statement of Attainment and  Government paperwork will be issued from which the licence is issued.

Course Length:
Our Forklift Course runs for 40 nominal hours, most people complete the course over a three day period.  It includes all practical and theory activities, and the final assessment.  Our professional and accredited trainers and assessors are friendly and helpful, and work with trainees the help them achieve their goals.

 Course Schedule:
Start time is 8:30am each day, and finish is approximately 4:00pm.

Minimum Requirements:
Intermediate level of numeracy, literacy and communication skills
Must be 18+ years
Must be able to understand, read and write English
Photographic Identification
100 points of identification will be required for Licence Processing

Licence Processing Fees

Licence processing fees are payable to Australia Post when lodging the licence application on completion of the course.

Log Book Training.

Designed specifically for the needs of business, our Forklift Training and Assessment Course delivers a nationally recognised outcome. How does it work?  Very simply!

1st Visit - we conduct formal training in your workplace including theory, safe work procedures, workplace safety, hazard identification, forklift components, operation and dynamics.  Training plan formalisation and Log Book signup.

2nd Visit - Once the trainee has completed 40 hours of work in the log book, we return and conduct the formal Workplace Health and Safety Assessment - theory and practical, and complete the Government Paperwork.
