Onsite 'Log-Book' training is available and can be great option for employers who cant lose their team members while they come and do the classroom course.
We will come to your site, prepare a Log Book and Training Plan for the trainee. Complete the formal training process and cover the units from the training package essential for safe operation, technique and general workplace safety standards for Forklift Drivers.
The Trainee then completes 40 hours of 'Logged' on the job training under the supervision of your licenced operators.
Once this is done we will come back to your site, ensure the Log Book has been completed thoroughly, through the training that completed and assess the trainee in the workplace.
The Assessor and trainee will require a quiet area for the theory exam, and an area free from obstruction for the practical component, with sample loads and suffucient space for testing.
This type of on-the-job training is reliant on the support of, and supervision provided by the employer.
All equipment used in the training process has to be maintained in safe operating order, and to the required safety standards for mobile plant and equipment.
