Description:
This course delivers the skills and knowledge required to operate a WAVE (Work Assist Vehicle) in a safe manner, and recognise workplace hazards.
There is no licence for a WAVE (Work Assist Vehicle), but to operate one a person must be trained in its use. Employers are required by law to provide proper training in this piece of equipment.
A WAVE (Work Assist Vehicle) is an extremely important part of many organisations’ material handling responsibilities. However extreme caution must be taken when using this type of equipment.
It’s important to know as much as possible about the equipments, its controls, levers, maintenance, and load carrying capacities so you’ll have the knowledge necessary to use this equipment safely.

Intermediate level of numeracy, literacy and communication skills
